Maybe I should leave more time pass before I figure out if I liked this book or not. Although I never read this novel I felt it was familiar. I found myself getting annoyed with the main character and putting it down but a moment later picking it up again. This is the story of three friends who grew...

Though the title connotes a yarning puerile romance, Kazuo Ishiguro’s Never Let Me Go is a lovely work of literary fiction. The novel’s resignation to its own hopelessness threads delicately between gently morose and hauntingly blithe. Ishiguro maintains a deft hand in slowly revealing details, a ta...

This is by far the most deeply penetrating book I have read in several years. And I mean several. What makes us human? "Maybe none of us really understand what we've lived through, or feel we've had enough time"Read it.PS: And no, it's not science fiction.

**********SPOILER WARNING*************What does it really mean to be human? Are we human only if we were born to other humans, or can we also be considered to be human if we were created in a laboratory from another's DNA. This book confronts this question in a radical way. What if, in the future, c...

I liked the idea of this story, but I felt that it never really developed. I had no emotional connection to any of the characters, despite early glimpses of promise, I found them flat and not quite believable by the end (or was this the point?) I spent almost the whole book falling asleep, then in t...

What an amazing fucking book.I am an emotionally torn up person inside after this. Not because of one incident or something a character said, but because the story was bit by bit woven into such a controversial, heart breaking, sad web. Im describing this as morbid, and maybe it is, but the storytel...
