In this book I want to discuss certain advanced concepts which block the average player from winning consistently The several road blocks that a poker player goes through and the several incorrect mindsets that he develops. I also want to tell the various ways how an average player can continuously win at poker.
Some of the new concepts that I will discuss in this book are
• GTO – Game Theory Optimal
• Thin Line Between Gambling And Poker
• Winner’s Don’t Quit And Losers Don’t Win
• How To Simulate Your Poker Strategy easily and eliminate leaks
• Playing Poker With Ranges
• Avoid The “Big Fish” Move
• Balancing The Game
• The ABC Game
• Rule Of 20
• Good Draws And Bad Draws
• Changing Gears
• Controlling Losses when holding One Pair, Two Pairs Bluffs And the
“Big Fish” hand.
• Resistance and manifestation of edges
• Bankroll Discipline
• How To Limit Bad Beats
• RECIPROCALITY
Again this is going to be a short book. I will devote couple of pages to each topic probably even just one page to a topic. I do not believe in writing endless volumes and stuff that will be of no advantage to the reader. Only today I was watching a video on the poker training site RunItOnce.com and in the video was made by a professional math instructor who started playing poker. In the video he was solving equations with funny looking numbers, the title of the video was A-1 and lots of equations. I don’t want to be solving math problems with a notebook and pen when I am playing poker. I believe in keeping it simple but not any more simple.
If you read other of my books you will find them extremely concise and to the point and which convey the message in a clear tone, rather than going round and round and losing the important things in sea of information.
As a poker player we need to be sharp, we need to eliminate the junk and focus on the important. At every point on the cash table we need to be able to eliminate the unnecessary and stay focused on the information that is very important. After all a player that is going to win in the long run is the one who will be most balanced and his concepts and strategies of the game are above average to the average strategies employed by the average players in his competition.
