I've been meaning to read this, and I never should've waited. It's hilarious and fun, like a rated R version of The Tick - superhero satire that still works as darn good superhero fare. Need some more Monica Rambeau in the world.
Dysfunctional, hilarious and bad-ass underdog heroes. Ridiculous panels, filled with so much action and explosions that it's insanely fun to read this. Death bears from above. I LOVE THIS.
Aaron Stack is my new favorite character. I adore his relationship with Betty in Red She-Hulk, but Ellis' interpretation of him here is hysterical.
The dialogue keeps me reading, but that's about it. It's amusing though, but not my favourite comic.
Review for both volumes of Nextwave. What this is, in a nutshell, is an excuse for explosions and big fight scenes, held together by sarcasm.
