In 1966, when Stan Lee hired an unknown artist named Jim Steranko to draw the Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. stories for Marvel Comics' Strange Tales, no one could have realized that the work produced would soon be viewed as the most innovative comic art and writing of the period.

Steranko's stint with the Fury series was a tour de force of cutting-edge graphic effects and cinematic storytelling that had never been explored in the comics before. Although his body of work in the medium consisted of less than 30 comics stories overall, his work became a major influence on contemporary graphic artists.

Now for the first-time in one volume, the full collection of those ground-breaking issues of Strange Tales (#150-168) having been reprinted in their original colors.
