Nothing really worked for me. Not the kind of recipes I'd want to make after a full day at work. I'm not a big entertainer either. Her recipes are more for party-throwers.

For the most part a cool cookbook. I walked away with several interesting pasta dish recipes. I will say that this cookbook was loaded down with more fish and meats that I wouldn't eat for humane or personal reasons. The dessert recipes, including a tiramsu in tini glasses were def. keepers.

I love to read, watch and eat with Nigella Lawson. She is absolutely awesome!! her style, way of describing food and cooking makes my mouth water!! I've tried some of her recipes and they're easy to prepare, tasty and what is most important NOT time consuming. Excellent! And bon appetit !! : )

Great cookbook. Simple food, well-written recipes. No photographs, as this was written before Ms Lawson became a television celebrity, and all the better for it.
