At the end of this book I sighed with relief. I was glad the tension was over, The story, however, is unbelievably magnetic. You can’t let it go once you begin, even as it gets more and more intense. The reader will wonder if they are reading a script in which the actors don’t realize they are parti...

I rarely get spooked by a book, but this book spooked me. I'm a notoriously slow reader, especially with English books, but I flew through this thick novel, dreading what I'd find on the next page but eager to see it at the same time. This book petrified and thrilled me, made me read into the late h...

What got my attention with Night Film - apart from the great cover (nice work) - were the comparisons early reviewers made between this and House of Leaves. Duh: Fell for the House Of Leaves Redux.
The Fevered Imagination of Danielle DeVor
If I had to sum up this book in one word, it would be "amazing".It hit all my happy points- recluse film director ala Cigarette Burns, horror films, a mysterious suicide, and a fractured hero. This will be one of those books that I will reread over and over again.

Cinco estrellitas!
