No Goodbyes in Heaven is the dramatic sequel to Heroes Never Die.

For years, Stephanie has kept her location a secret, but she knows that Tareef will never rest until he brings her to justice. Tareef’s day for revenge comes when Stephanie is taken hostage in an intricate plan to lure her out of hiding, but now her family is at risk of being executed as well. Her husband, Brian, must turn to his rival, Kyle Robertson, for help even though he knows that Kyle is still in love with his wife. But when Kyle learns that Stephanie deliberately kept a secret from him that would have changed the course of their lives, he is devastated. Kyle is faced with the decision of choosing between saving millions of lives from a deadly sarin gas attack, or saving Stephanie. Hearts are broken, lives are restored, and Stephanie finds out the hard way that there are No Goodbyes in Heaven.

Excerpt:
“Hello, Stephanie,” Kyle said in his cool Virginian accent. “It’s been a long time.” He was as handsome as ever, with blonde hair combed back over his head, his thick layers highlighting warm shades of brown. His full mouth framed a charming smile, and his wire rim glasses made his blue eyes look even more intelligent than he already was. Stephanie stared at her very first love, her hero, the man who had broken her heart, the man who had caused so much pain, the man who had risked everything to save her. Kyle smiled at her and looked deeply into her blue eyes, as though nothing had changed between them. “You’re even more beautiful than I remember. I’ve missed you, Stephanie. Admit it, Stephanie. You still love me. I can see it in your eyes.”

“I’m just surprised. How did you get past the security gate?”

“Really, Stephanie?” he questioned as though he had just been insulted. “I can’t believe you need to ask.”

Suddenly she felt incredibly stupid for asking. He was Kyle Robertson, after all, and nothing seemed to be impossible for him. “You made it to the White House, Kyle. I always knew you would be the President one day.”

“You always did believe in me.” His warm smile suddenly faded and his face filled with sentimental regret. “But you were supposed to be there with me. I still want you, Stephanie.”

Stephanie curled her lip with disgust. “Forget it, Kyle. I hardly want to be forced to start a regimen of antibiotics. And when Brian finds out you let yourself in, he’s going to be furious with you.”

“What’s he going to do…give me an embolism?”

Stephanie wondered why he would accuse Brian of such a thing. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“I thought you knew. Forget I said anything.”

“I know this isn’t a social call. Brian and I saw the news yesterday…along with the rest of the world. And what about me? I’m scared, Kyle.”

“You should know by now that I won’t let anything happen to you. I already have your home under surveillance, and no matter where you go, someone will be watching you. I promise we will find them before they find you.”

“Oh, please…you can’t even find the terrorists who bombed Midlands Hospital.”

“Come on, Stephanie. We knew who bombed Midlands Hospital within an hour after it happened.”

“Then why haven’t any arrests been made?”

“It’s complicated. Do you remember Abdullah’s son, Barraq…the one he took to George Town? You told us he was five years old at the time, and that he wanted to touch your blonde hair. Meet America’s newest terrorist. And he’s working with Tareef’s son, Tamir. Both Barraq and Tamir are Saudi princes. Our hands are tied.”
