Yet another work that pits nerds against cheerleaders. I should be over this sort of thing. And honestly, most of the time, I am. Luckily, Shen takes a slightly different track here. Well, THAT was fun - I laughed out loud enough times to annoy (and interest) the kid. Great pacing and beats, awesome robots, and punchy, easy-to-distinguish characters. I reckon this GN would translate to an animated movie or TV show just great.
Hahahaha. This was great. What a hilarious and fully fleshed out graphic novel. A+. Not that I've read a ton, but this is probably the best teen graphic novel I've ever read.
A fun and generally realistic view of the teenage robotics club scene, this graphic novel would be great for readers who have graduated from Telemeiger's Smile.
4.5 starsVery cute read about reconnecting with friends and family despite personal setbacks and disappointments.
