Anita finally learns a little more about Edward in this book. He's come to her aid several times and backed her up while battling monsters before, but now she's on his turf. Terrible murders, unusual clues, a variety of suspects... pushy cops, serial killer friends and to top all that, Anita comes t...

I'm really enjoying the Anita Blake series ... except for this book.Very hard to get through, redundant in so many parts.I don't like reading the same thing in different sentences paragraph after paragraph. I loved reading more Edward, but this was a really terrible book, not least because Anita has become wholly unlikable by now.

Obsidian Butterfly is probably my least favorite Anita and she's still trying to better understand herself without messing up what she has. The ultimate question is, will she succeed? To read my full review, click here.
