All Taine wants is to get his boys back to his ship, but he finds himself driven further and further from the starport and deeper into a mystery of galactic import. With a war between the stars in the balance, and Taine himself growing hungrier by the minute, he finds that someone or something has other plans for him and his boys and indeed his home world.
