This book was ok, but not really what I expected. I had hoped for more of the fairy tale and less drama. The biggest conflict in the book is that she lies about an orgasm. Other than that the characters were great and the romance steamy, but the storyline was just blah.
This was goodish, but nothing overly exciting. I expected the story to have more to do with the actual heroine-goes-to-tower trope, but really that had little to do with this story. It's more a traditional historical romance than anything else.
This one was.. interesting... With no "villain", it dealt with something we don't often see in romances, and for that, I liked it. One particular part pulled away my enjoyment a bit, but that was all cleared up in the end. 4/5, full review to follow.
2.7 starsI really love this authors retelling of fairytales, normally. This one missed the mark for me. I liked it, it was enjoyable but it lacked something that I found in the other books in the series. I never felt the characters drama, I just couldn't connect with them. He seemed to drift from on...
3.5-4 starsI'm stuck on how to rate this. I enjoyed the first half very much. Every waking moment of his day is rigorously schedu...
