Fantastic book for kids! So imaginative and creative. Easy read that children will find delightful!Dr. Seuss is always brilliant! His stories and rhymes are fun and entertaining! Some of my all time favorites!! Such a great way to entertain children and get them interested in reading!

I rate this as a reader, not as a bookseller or mom. And I have to say I just find this one erratic and dull. And it is SO LONG. I infinitely prefer the Seuss books with a story to them. We read HOP ON POP the other day and it has a similar problem but is mercifully shorter. This admission may cause...

One of the very first books I read, possibly the first. I don't know. Granny, a retired first-grade teacher told Mom I could read, but she didn't believe me. Dr. Seuss managed to create some the brain-stickiest writing ever. I can recite almost the entire book.
