Why did I read this? Well, what happened was a friend from work suggested it, telling me I'd love it. She's in her 50s and I guess she sort of thought I'd relate to Stephanie's life, being single, broke, and romance-challenged. So instead of being rude, I told her I'd read the book, so I did. Wi...
I think one of my GR buddies summed this book up perfectly! "The entire series is pretty brainless fun. The characters can be quite amusing (if a little one dimensional at times), but as long as you don't expect much from them, you should enjoy the series. " Thanks, Tanya! Now onto my review. Fans of...
I think I am surprised by how much I enjoyed this. It was exactly what I needed right now: light, funny, and quick. I'm not really a huge fan of chick lit (though I am scared I might be becoming one). But this was great. I liked this book right from the opening scene, and it was familiar and interes...
A fun fast read not too complicated detective tale. The ending was kinda predictable but still entertaining. I think it was a nice start to the series and am looking forward to the next book.
This book was funny as hell! I love grandma mazur, shes hilarious. Very glad I decided to give this book a chance,it deserves all the hype :) I'm already a few chapters into book two, that right there says it all.
I think this might be my first Evanovich book and I was pleasantly surprised! There is a great story line with a a bunch of humor and action. I was really wondering if I would like it because lately, I haven't enjoyed what the masses seem to gush about. But this one was really good. I'm excited to s...

I find the main characters unsympathetic and at times mighty irritating. The mystery was weak and the telling had so much telegraphing of ...
What a good book . I never laughed so much in my life!!! The main character is too funny with attitude . It has a good storyline .... I cant wait to get started on the next book!!!
Loved it!! Stephanie Plum was witty, naive and I enjoyed meeting her. The fact that it's set in 1993 transported me the fashion of almost 20 years ago. Looking forward to more Stephanie and Jim!
