This is either the 4th or 5th time I've read the book and I still love it. This book and Mr. Perfect are the two books I remember first when I think of my favorite Linda Howard reads.

I really loved this book and it was so different from the other Linda Howard book I read several months ago. "MacKenzie's Mountain" was very good, but this was fun! This was a re-read, but I liked it way more this time. I just loved Daisy (& Jack) and thought the suspense subplot--which was a bit lightwieght--was done fairly well.

I just re-read this book. I liked it even better than the first time. It was surprisingly funny. The kind of Linda Howard story I really enjoy.

In my book, she is right up there with Nora Roberts and Judith McNaught as one of those authors whose books you rush right out and buy the book, sight unseen. I did enjoy Open Season, it was cute and as is always the case with Linda Howard, very sexy...

I listened to the Audible edition.I will just say straight out, I loved this book.It had humor, it had likeable characters and villainous villains. Did I mention there was humor? The narrator did a great job. Lots of women's voices were needed and each was distinguishable. Intonations were spot on....
