I've heard mixed reviews about this adaption---I have yet to read the original one, so I cannot compare and contrast between the two books.

Man, this looks A-MA-ZING!! As long as they stay true to the descriptions (and make Anubis as hot as I imagine him to be :D) I'm sure it'll be great!!

I desperately wanted to like this book. I find Roman or Greek gods far more interesting than Egyptian. The story itself was great. However, the narration left a bit to be desired. I'm not sure why Riordan felt the need to do it in the format of a audio tape transcript. He could have done it in a third person omnipresent style and it would have worked just as well, if not better. Not to mention, t...
