Way better than the first, where Lena was absolutely a sissy. Also, Julian. I like action-girls much, much better -- I adore the girls who run away with a knife and try to save people and don't give up, who do stupid things and fall down and get up and Lena is turning into that. Finally. And Julian? ...

Okay, now that I have read Requiem (Delirium, #3), I am back to review Pandemonium. The book opens with a chapter labeled "Now." The "now" of that first chapter represents a jump ahead for readers who have just finished Delirium. Lena has taken on a new identity: Lena Morgan Jones, high-school senior...

Loved this. More action and Lena really shined. Can't wait to see what happens next after that ending!!

I was right to switch to reading from audiobook - the teen angst, predictable as it is, slides by much more easily. I enjoyed the double storylines, one for Lena's introduction to the wilds and the second her first mission for the resistance. I've got the 3rd book in hand thanks to my generous YA ...

This review is also posted on my blog.***Pandemonium picks up a few months after the last event in Delirium. The beginning was – honestly – boooring. And I can’t help but yawned. My eyes seemed to wander everywhere and I was tempted to put this book down. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Now and Then...

I enjoyed Pandemonium. Truth be told, I liked it even better than Delirium. I liked how each chapter alternated between the past (right where Delirium had ended), and the present (months later). I also thought Lena grew up a lot in this book. She was borderline annoying in the first book with a...

Pandemonium is a sequel to Delirium, one of my favorite books of last year. Chapters alternate between then and now, disrupting the momentum and impact of the entire book. I cannot imagine why such a skillful writer as Lauren Oliver chose to do this. While I liked the character of Julian I didn't ...

Review: http://thesecretlifeofabookworm-x.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/review-pandemonium-by-lauren-oliver.htmlWHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ENDING?! Seriously, my heart is torn! I was convinced I'd never stray from Team Alex because him & Lena in the first book were just so perfect & beautiful, but then Julian ...

I have to say I love this series and the world that Lauren Oliver has created. When I read Delirium I was so intrigued with a world where love was considered a sickness that needed to be cured. By the end of Delirium I was hooked and needed more of these characters and this world. However Pandemoniu...
