It’s difficult to write something new about a series of books all featuring the same character, all enjoyable, yet having none that seems to stand out more than the others. I hate to do just a recitation of the plot not wishing to risk the ire of the spoiler patrol. Suffice it to say this book is a...

This was ok - kind of a like the Janet Evanovitch mysteries, but not as funny. This book contained either the best Freudian slip ever or my all time favorite editing error: "Cora let out an ejaculation indicating Flo was a person of low IQ involved in romantic coupling illegal in several states." ...

It was another look at the bombing of the Rhodes hotel....

Both can be quite humorous, especially because of the repartee ...

Our favorite P.I. is thrust into the middle of a mystery again, this time at a bed-and-breakfast his wife Alice arranged for them to help them get over the fact that their son will be at camp for six weeks. Not being a great fan of bed-and-breakfasts (my wife and I once stayed at one and had to suf...
