Once again, like the first 2 books, I finished wanting more! It took me a while to get into her past lives, in the beginning. At one point, I felt that it was over-kill and felt like "OK already, I get it." But I am a very impatient person. Just as I got to that point, the lives took on a different...

This review was completed by Amanda Harbin, staff reviewer with the YA Fantasy Guide.I love this series, but I have to say that this was my least favorite of the books so far. Don't get me wrong, I tore through the book like a starving book worm. The writing is fun and engrossing and everything th...

I'll give this 3.5 stars. A vast improvement from book 2, "Torment" which was tormenting to read. What the previous novel lacked, this one made up for quickly as a time traveling historical romance. Luce travels back in time, trying to fix her ill fated love. The writing style is still problemat...

Check out my reviews here: http://addictedtowordsreviews.blogspot.com/Passion starts up right from the end of 'Torment'. Luce finds herself travelling throughout the past, as she tries to figure out what exactly it is about her and Daniel that makes their love become a curse. This book was quite dif...

This is an interesting addition to the series. I feel like something was missing, but that could be the fact that Daniel and Luce are hardly ever together in this book. I always had the feeling like I was waiting for the action to start, but the time travel thing is all the action. When I started th...

The book was definitely better than the second book! The storyline was very awesome and I loved (SPOILER ALERT) that Luce was visiting her past selves. I kinda knew from the beginning that Bill was evil, or at least I suspected it :) Can't wait for the last book; Rapture!

The Fallen series have taken itself from being infuriating to actually good. It took a new turn in this third installment which involved a growing trend in the Young Adult scene, "Time Traveling".To begin with, the book didn't start as slow as I thought it would. It went straight to where the last b...

2.5 stars. The Fallen series has always been sort of a hit and miss with me. The first book was fairly boring and emo, with the only redeeming factors being an interesting ending and an intriguing character (Cam). Sorry to piss off all the rabid fans of book 1, but nothing really happened in that bo...

I was pretty excited about this book when I got to the end of Torment (which is appropriately named). To be able to go back to Luce's past and visit her old incarnations! The possibilities are endless! I eagerly ordered it near the date and very happily received it two days ahead of the release day....
