Like most kids, I went through a phase in which I read everything about Greek mythology. Had I read this book during that phase, I probably would have loved it. As I am today, it was okay. The adventure was decent. The writing was okay (though the moments Percy slipped into present tense were jarring...
Percy Jackson is the son of Poseidon and finds out he's a demi-god or a half blood when his teacher Mrs Dodds tries to kill him in a museum. Percy is accused of stealing Zeus's lightning bolt, so he makes his way to Camp Half Blood because that is the only place that could keep him and the other hal...

Amazing story of a small boy and the Greek Gods. It feels as if I am voyaging with Percy towads an incredible quest. I chanced to read a genious fantacy long after Harry Potter. Full marks for imagination, creativity of thoughts, and crafting a long lasting cult drama.Recommended to all HP fans.
3 stars - liked it. Just revisiting memories! And yes, I did like it, but it wasn't love. Hence the three star rating. But I'm sure - and I remember - that the series gets better, so I'm definitely reading the rest of the sequels.
