This one may be my new favorite, replacing Pride and Prejudice.

I don’t know how to review this book. In 200 years since its publication, everything that could be said about it has been said. I can only give you my impressions. I’m not sure if I liked or disliked it. I enjoyed reading it and I wanted to know how the story ended, but the quality of writing was te...

This was my "comfort read" for the Summer Book Bingo. It's a re-read, so there's not much more for me to say than I've said before. It's Austen. It's brilliant. I refrained from 5 stars only because it starts a bit slow and it's not Pride & Prejudice, the standards by which I judge all my regen...

Her best work. Such a wonderful novel. Love the romance, but really love the various friendships

Persuasion is best read when you have some time so that you can just really ...

*happy sigh*Just*happy sigh*Which is odd, because in general and in particular, I HATE with a passion those love stories which rely upon a previous love returning. I think the difference with Persuasion is that I really love Anne, and I'd happily read about her doing anything. Also Jane Austen's hum...

The English in this book was a bit difficult to read for me, but I used sparknotes after every two chapters to help me understand it better. But I really liked the story line and I loved the characters

It's very hard to write a review on your favourite novel because you are so much in love with that book that nothing seems wrong, to me this is one such book. Meaning - this review is all about praises for Persuasion.I have no idea why I had given this book a four star rating earlier, which was actu...

Persuasion was Jane Austen's final book. She died before completing the editorial process, which means that it is, perhaps, a little bit less polished than her other books, all of which were shined to a glass-like finish before being submitted for publication. There are echoes of her other stories...
