This terrifying horror story has it all - pet cemetery, grieving parents, dead baby, Indian burial ground, superstitious neighbour, all blended into a cocktail of terror when the parents will do anything to get their baby back. Not recommended. A must for all Stephen King fans and those looking for ...

This book truly scared me. It wasn't as scary as the Shining, it didn't have me running as fast as I could up my stairs because I thought I heard a ball bouncing. Or Salem's Lot or It, would just screwed up my sleep patterns for days. But it scared me. It scared me because if I was Lou, and I kne...

I have a soft spot for cats - and babies as well I suppose - so it was extra spooky. If you don't have time for the book just see the film instead.I have no incentive to read or watch horror anymore. I get nightmares and restless nights from the daily drudgery as it is.That's the real horror, man.

I seem to be alone in this, but I rank Pet Sematary up with Salem's Lot and The Shining as one of King's greatest novels. In the sense of pure horror, it is one of his scariest but also one of his most serious. It is as much as a treatise on death and grieving as it is a horror novel. King outdoes h...

Creepy. If there is one word that universally describes all of King's books, that would be "creepy". The ending is just.. I'm currently afraid to turn my back to a door, and as soon as I feel the smell of earth or grass, I get all spooked out. That's me. Faint of heart. It's a very powerful story, ...

Couldn't finish it. Too manipulative. Too slow. Perhaps, my opinion was influenced too much by the film and knowing the story going in.

I read this book a long time ago and it really accomplished the horror novel mission of scaring the shit out of me. I don't have a great recollection of it beyond it scaring the crap out of 15 year old me and the general sense that I liked it.
