I kind of regret not reading this when I was younger. It pretty much has everything I loved when I was a kid: pirates, sword fights, flying. Reading this as an adult, it doesn't seem nearly as wonderful. Every time I got caught up in the story I would get thrown out by some racist or sexist comment....
