I skimmed most of it as there was a lot of unnessecary filler. interesting novel, mediocre execution. though the sudden veering into The Time Machine was an unexpected twist.
It had so much promise at the beginning, but it got really weird, uninteresting and a bit too Sci-Fi for me after about 50%. The people in the book are cruel without a reason. But the main thing for me was that the story got a bit confusing, because things just happened and showed up out of nothing....
