I really enjoyed Ione's 1st in the Demonica series, especially the characters. Tayla is sassy and self-sufficient, which I prefer in female characters, and Eidolon is a demon doctor (amongst other things!). I get a kick out of the fact that Tayla calls Eidolon "Hellboy", nice addition. The supportin...

Holy-Mother-Effing-Hotness! Damn. I definitely just read this is on sitting. The sex scenes were amazing and abundant as they should be in this genre, by that wasn't the only thing carrying this book by any means. The plot was interesting, the world building was good, and the characters were int...

After the tenth “You haven’t read the Demonica series yet? *Gasp*” I realized that maybe this was something I should get into. I was not disappointed. One of the most original paranormal romances I’ve read in awhile, Larissa Ione isn’t afraid to show you what’s in the deep recesses of her brain. Io...

Four solid stars. A fast-paced, enjoyable read with some great one-liners. I work in the medical field, so it was nice to read a paranormal book about an underground hospital run by a demon that still managed to reflect the author’s accurate medical knowledge. I enjoyed her sense of humor also.

Loved it! If not for the heroine who aggravated me for a long part of the book, this would be a 5 stars book. Someone should have put a gun in my head and convinced me to read it sooner: so much time lost wihile this waited in my TBR:( The world building, the heroes and bad guys remind me of a more ...

For a book that is supposedly urban fantasy but is actually just a kind of paranormal erotica, I actually liked it a lot more than I thought I would. And, sure, I'm not a complete idiot and I understood beforehand that any book, urban fantasy or not, that is called 'Pleasure Unbound' will have more ...
Jocelyn Adams - Living life one word at a time
I really enjoyed this. I totally bought into the world Larissa Ione painted for me. Loved the UG hospital and the way she portrayed the good and bad of both humans and demons. The sexual tension began the instant Tay and E meet, and doesn't stop until the last page. This has all of the elements ...

Tayla and Eidolon come from very different worlds. She is a demon slayer and he is a demon doctor working in an underworld hopsital. Their worlds collide after an injury that Tayla suffers and is taken to the demon hospital for care. A discovery while in the hospital turns Tayla's life upside down. ...

Rather entreating. 4.5 stars, super angst ridden end.
