I continue to be thoroughly enjoying my reread of the In Dead series. This is a good one! I frequently think of scenes and have no clue which book they are in (e.g.,--avoiding spoilers--Somerset going on vacation, the novelty balloon or "the coat" :-) so am delighted when I run across them.
This was a good story and I enjoyed the way Eve and Roarke struggled personally. Also, I thought the moments shared between Eve and Summerset were quite touching. Anyone else notice that Roarke's voice seemed a bit off at times in this book?
Normally by the time a book series reaches number sixteen, you would expect for the plot to start becoming a bit iffy, and mistakes to possibly occur with the characters and their personalities.
