This one was fantastic!!! I couldn't guess , not even guess , who the killer was until Eve figured it out.

I continue to be thoroughly enjoying my reread of the In Dead series. This is a good one! I frequently think of scenes and have no clue which book they are in (e.g.,--avoiding spoilers--Somerset going on vacation, the novelty balloon or "the coat" :-) so am delighted when I run across them.

This was a good story and I enjoyed the way Eve and Roarke struggled personally. Also, I thought the moments shared between Eve and Summerset were quite touching. Anyone else notice that Roarke's voice seemed a bit off at times in this book?

There are a number of photos of the victim, obviously taken before the crime was committed, without the g...

One of the better books in the series, as far as I've read. A side story about Roarke, which is always a pleasure!
