This book was rather intense. I really didn't know at times if I liked it or not. I really don't know anything about the BDSM world, but I do know after reading enough books that deal with the lifestyle, that there needs to be communication between Dom and Sub. I did not see this in this book, whet...

Brilliantly Subversive, Deliberately Horrific (aka: read the freaking subtext)It took me a long time and a couple read-throughs to digest this book enough to collate my thoughts into the ability to write a review, which I felt really moved to do because I think a lot of people miss the point of this...

This will be a review rant and there will be tons and tons and tons of spoilers so don't read if that's not your thing. This rating stands depending on the next book. I have some ideas of what's going on and where it's heading. However, the last 4% had me a bit perplexed so if it doesn't head in a ...

East Bay Area. So "Silicon Valley" is pm right next door. The whole Silicon Valley thing...that was fuck...

I found the experience of reading it more grueling than pleasurable, and there were aspects of the books that were genuinely disturbing to me--and I read heavily in this genre. All of that being said, this is a fa...

If you can handle the extreme kink, go for it – but only if you can commit to reading BOTH BOOKS. Trust me.*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*Grade: B-Reading these books was not a choice made on a whim. I read all the reviews and all the warnings and all the samples and all the excerpts. When it was ...

SarahF sang its praises to me on Twitter. I'm not generally an m/m reader, but perhaps I can make an exception.

What a powerful story. I was so wholly torn between being riveted to the story and wanting to close my eyes and "see" no more. This book was a journey with a message - don't go in looking for love though I am hopeful it may be found in the sequel which I will read as soon as I can.

4.5 StarsBillionaire tech genius, Jonathan Watkins, meets undereducated home builder, Brandon McKinney, in a dive bar in San Francisco’s Chinatown. It’s lust at first sight. After a few very intense sexual encounters and conversations that bring to light a mutual interest in green technologies. Jona...
