I had a very hard time getting into this book. I hated pretty talk and didn't completely remember what happened in the first one. I also couldn't get into the relationship with Zane. I didn't care about him at all and wish she would have chosen David. I half expected Zane to be a bad guy the whole t...
While I devoured Uglies and was sucked in from early on, I had a much more difficult time getting into Pretties. My biggest problem with the book was the language that the Pretties used--it was really annoying, and unfortunately highly prevalent during most of the first half of the book. They have a...
Mirror Mirror on the wall, I am pretty after all. Tally is now a Pretty and she only has pretty concerns. What should I wear to the party, will the right click vote me in, etc. It has been a month since her surgery to become Pretty but something keeps nagging in the back or her mind. In her drea...
After making the decision at the end of the first book, to turn herself in, to become Pretty to see if there is cure, Tally spends her days trying to stay bubbly with her boyfriend, Zane. Bubbly seems to mean sharp and aware, the feeling you get when you jump into a freezing river or pull off a dan...

Pretties is written in the slang of Pretties which was a very over-whelming and annoying style. Every five seconds the wo...
Series review:This is a series I have wanted to read for awhile and finally got the chance to when a group member on goodreads nominated it for a challenge. Well only the first book, but I couldn’t stop there, I devoured the series in a about 4 days!Tally Youngblood’s world was absolutely fascinatin...
A seamless transition from Uglies, Pretties was intriguing for more than 1/2 of the book. I got bored towards the end of it and just started skimming or skipping pages altogether. The ending was interesting and it is enough to have me read the next in the series. Or at least skim.
I don't understand it, but I liked this book better than the first book. In this book, Tally has become "Prettie" and is as air headed as the rest. But, David and the Smokies have a plan to help her to find her brain again. I found this book engrossing and easy to read. I loved Zane and found my...
