The heroine, Ginger, and her little sister make this book wonderfully. Both characters coming from the same awful background of parental neglect and drug abuse are tenderly and richly drawn. The banter between the two sisters is real and funny. Our police detective hero is uber hot, possessive, and...

4+ stars. Protecting What's His was an enjoyable read all the way around. Good plot, good characters, satisfying story and relationship development, hot sex (but not too much of it). It was all shrunk down to a somewhat shorter book. I'm not sure if this qualifies as 'novella' but it could have been...

This review will pretty much be "meh" because that's what I felt about this book. For some reason, the thing that usually works for me didn't work this time, and I'm really sorry cause I was looking for an outrageous guy with outrageous statements that would blow my mind.Maybe it's because I've alrea...

Dirty talking hero. Strong dirty talking heroine who wasn't going to put up with his 'ish. Entertaining family dynamics. Good secondary romance. Very glad I saw people talking about this on twitter and decided to give it a try. Looking forward to the next installment.

Give me a reason to do it...

My o...

If I start unpacking all the individual tropes in this book, I'll talk myself out of liking it. It was a fun, fluid read. Though neither the hero nor the heroine particularly won me over as individuals (they're both relatively simple constructs), they have some great chemistry (on the domination/s...
