I originally read this book because I love the movie so much; this is nothing like the movie. However, I still realy enjoyed this book. My only issue with the whole thing was the main character. She annoyed me a bit too much at times with all the whinyness. Otherwise, great descriptions of feelings ...

Wow, apparently I didn't remember the movie very well or it was extremely different from the book. I'm betting on the latter. It was a very sweet and heartwarming book. Parts made me laugh, parts made me want to cry, and parts made me want to throw the book because I was so frustrated with Holly. An...

I can see why others would love this book, but I'm not one of those people. I simply lost interest half way through. Maybe it's because I'd seen and loved the film first.

Couldn't finish it no matter how hard I've tried to. The story just plain boring. And I couldn't believe I'm about to say this. The movie is much better than the book.

And those of you who have seen the movie and haven't read the book: go ahead and do it! It's almost like two different stories - the bo...

Obviously this is a book about overcoming the loss of a loved one. Herein, you will find Holly mourning for her late husband. A LOT. I found it repetitive during the later half of the book, but was rewarded with a book that is what is advertised: a funny, tearful adventure about Holly after Gerry.

Oh my goodness. I cried at least five times. This book is so touching. It's hard to think about being in Holly's shoes, but it's easy to see why she feels those specific emotions. Her friends see her through the trials of losing her husband, and the letters are so endearing. What a thoughtful husban...
