In the beginning the whole science aspect had me confused and didn't quite make sense to me, but as the book goes on it gets much better

This is a DNF for me. It was just too gruesome. As fabulous as the world building is, I just couldn't take those mental images.

I was telling a friend about this book and she now refers to it as that weird book. BUT I liked it you just have to let your mind go to a place where people can fuse with objects. : )

4 solid starsPure started off as really a slow read for me. I found it hard to get into and I felt as if the action was slow coming. I really enjoyed the dystopian take the atomic bomb after effected world though, so I kept reading. Once the story picked up and there was some movement that is when I...

Originally posted on my blog Chasing Empty PavementsSo this book was a bit of a mystery for me... when I first saw it, the blurb was actually different than the one that is now listed on Goodreads and Amazon...but even the blurb for it before made it seem insanely interesting. But then... life happe...
