My original Burnt Offerings audiobook review and many others can be found at Audiobook Reviewer. Burnt Offerings by Robert Marasco is a slow-burn of a horror novel, one that I have to admit I struggled with. For a book that’s around only 8 hours of listening time, it felt twice as long thanks to M...

This is a short prequel story to Blackmore's Mountain Man series. I downloaded both the kindle version and the audible audio versions free via amazon. This review focuses more on the audible version, though I did use the Immersion Reading feature which combines both the ebook and audio versions. N...

(This review is based on the audiobook version, read by R.C. Bray.) WOW! That was literally my first thought upon finishing this book. I don't know if my review will be more coherent than that, either. I absolutely LOVED this book. I mean, I figured I would at least like it, if for no other reas...

Potatoes and Pirate-Ninjas: the reason you will read this book.*I'm late to the Mark Watney appreciation society, since I only heard about this book as a result of the movie trailer. I guess at least I didn't find out about the book after watching the movie and wondering if it was based on anything....

What a surprising, gripping read!! Recommending The Martian audio version to all my friends! What I liked: The first thing I need to make clear is although I do occasionally read Sci-Fi, it usually has a different twist on it than The Martian does. There might be hints of romance or a couple or somet...

I started listening to the audiobook earlier today and finished just now. It's 3:25am. First off, let me just say I HATE tech talk, and this book is about 2/3 tech talk... Yet it's done in such a way that it kept me interested and hooked on the story!Mark is very resourceful and funny, although I wo...

In space nobody can hear you scream like a little girl. The audio for this one was phenomenal. Extremely entertaining, despite a lot of science speak, which could have been a disaster, but Weir pulled it off beautifully. 4.5 Stars easy and maybe more. Highly Recommended!
