This one started off a bit confusing to me. I couldn't get a mental picture of the Gabriel's. I couldn't figure out if they were animals or cars. Maybe it's me, who knows? Once I got it then I was hooked. I'm starting to feel sorry for all Melissa's characters. I'm hoping at least some of them have ...
Melissa Marr doesn't fail to amaze me.I had wondered if this book would leave me confused like Ink Exchange had, since the whole story of Irial and Lesley and Niall was just a bit confusing for me.But this book was just breathtaking until the end.I hate Sorcha deep to my guts, for her being such a h...
I really enjoyed this one. I think so far it is the best in the series. Having new characters is fun and seeing how they fit in with the existing characters is great. I also thought it was great to find out more about the politics of all of the courts and how important they all are to one and other....
If you are expecting Ash, or Keenan to show up in this book; look elsewhere. Aislinn doesn't play a role in this installment because Keenan is missing, forcing her to focus her attention on the Summer Court. This is all about Ani and Devlin. And, it's not the last book of the series as previously in...
Eh. I didn't like this one as much as the others. I found it a bit dull and hard to follow, so I skimmed through a lot of it. I don't really like that the books keep changing perspectives. I like the story about Aislinn and I wish the series was more focused on her. Oh, well. Still enjoyable, but I ...
I was so excited when I found this at the library. I enjoyed Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely series. I loved the characters - Keenan, Niall, Irial, Seth, Donia and Aislinn. But I have mixed feelings about Radiant Shadows.Perhaps it's because it took me a long time to get into the story. I had read abou...
Unfortunately my *least* favorite of the Wicked Lovely series, with the original (Wicked Lovely) being a close second (mostly due to my less-than-enthralled view of Aislinn). Radiant Shadows left me wondering why Ms. Marr devoted an entire book to two characters who (until now) were barely even mino...
Radiant Shadows is the 4th book in the Wicked Lovely series and one of my favorites so far. It took me a while to really get into it, might have been b/c I was listening to the audiobook and not very regularly. Once things picked up, the book sucked me back into the wonderful world of faery that M...
I think Melissa Marr has a different idea of what a happy ending is from me. That said, there's something very compelling about her Wicked Lovely books, and Radiant Shadows has my favorite couple. I loved having an aggressive fighter heroine and a sexually repressed hero--the gender role reversal wa...
I enjoyed the story, but I think I would have been more interested in the book if I had read the other one's right before. It took me too long to place everyone and remember what had happened in previous books, which made it difficult to become consumed by the story.
