I've been following this series since the beginning, full of hope and almost-admiration for the heroine, Jane Yellowrock. She is a fabulous example of what I enjoy in urban fantasy females. She's independent, athletic, even-tempered, kicks butt, almost never talks about her clothes, and intially, co...
This is my favorite Jane Yellowrock novel yet. Jane is challenged – hard – as she runs security for a Master of the City petition, checks on Ricky Bo’s shifting – or lack thereof, hunts renegade werewolves wreaking havoc in the area, and gets entangled in witch spells and demons. Another excellent thrill ride from Faith Hunter.I really enjoyed this. The last book ended on a pretty major cliffhanger. I seem to recall having to resist the urge to throw it across the room it was that bad. And so it was with eager anticipation that I began this story. And I can safely say, it wa...

In this book, Jane has been ordered to provide security for a vampire meeting in Asheville, North Carolina, which is where she was living prior to coming to New Orleans (where the previous books took place). Molly and Big Evan also live ...

Jane is back in NC in her home town working for Leo as he is considering the local vampire's request for Mas...

I did feel like Jane made a lot of stupid decisions this time around under the couch Jane, Really?!, but she was also runnin' on empty with no sleep most of the book so I guess that excuses some...
