Good, clean story...I am finding I like the early works of Charlaine Harris. I have not yet gone into her more recent works. This story is about a librarian who basically has a "murder club" based on famous serial killers...however, the murders start to get duplicated. I will def. finish this series...

I can't tell if I like this better than Lily, because Aurora is extremely different. But I do like it nonetheless. She's smart, short, loves books.. hmm.. what's not to like? And she's kind of a player, which is a little different. I think Harris has created a bunch of strong, independent women she ...

I decided to read this on a plane trip because it seemed easy to read and get into without having to think too hard, which is good because I get sleepy on planes. I don't often read mysteries but I'm determined to read everything Harris writes. I like her other two mystery protagonists, Lily Bard an...

I had a really hard time getting through this one. I have enjoyed Ms. Harris Southern Vampire series, and I've enjoyed her Harper Connelly series, but this one just took a long time to get through. Not the best written, but entertaining. I'd give it a 2 if stars were based on quality, but I liked it.

Good mystery novels with a sensible Southern heroine.

I'm commenting on the entire Aurora Teagarden mysteries series in this one review...It is an OK series. The plotlines are entertaining, but the editing, in a word, SUCKS. The names of the characters (last names) get screwed up, the spelling errors are abundant, the prose doesn't flow, and it makes y...

This was a very satisfying start to this cozy mystery series. It originally came out in the early 90s, and surprisingly many of the earlier titles are already out of print. Hopefully, with Ms. Harris becoming more popular, some of these older titles will be re-released. I actually had to pay over...

This was smart mystery. Harris did a good job of not giving away too much to make the villain obvious while also dropping clues that cast suspicion on other characters. Nicely done!
