I'm gonna give this 3.5 stars, as I did for White Cat. It was a good and enjoyable read and the story has gone in an unexpected direction so I'm intrigued to see how Holly finishes the series with Black Heart.

3.5/5I enjoyed White Cat pretty well. It was interesting jumping from the curse worker world to the mobster side of that world. It was interesting but it was hard to get fully into it because Cassel wasn’t a worker (though we find out differently towards the end). We were outsiders just like Cassel ...
