Parts of this had me glued to it, while others I felt were underdeveloped. It would have been nice if Valerie's relationship with Peter had been allowed to grow more slowly. I figured out who the wolf was quite a while before the book ended. It was really just a matter of figuring out who benefited ...

Somewhere along the lines of the Twilight saga, only slightly worse (if that's possible).Juvenile writing, one-dimensional, bland characters...One of the worst excuses for a fairy-tale remake I've ever read. And you have to visit a website to even read the ending.P.S. The movie isn't any better.

This was a great read. I read most of it in one day. I just had to know what was going to happen. I loved all of the characters and the setting was amazing. I think it will be a great film. One I am definitely going to see. The ending is where it went wrong. It felt rushed and unresolved. But I stil...

I'm not sure if this is a spoiler, but if you're going to read this book, you deserve to know: You don't get to find out who the Wolf is. You have to see the movie I think, which is ridiculous. It ends pretty abruptly, and is annoying as hell. I shouldn't have to go to Wikipedia to find out how a bo...

I am having troubles rating this book and think it should be 1/2 stars then I recall the fact that the last chapter is missing and you have to read it online makes me really pissed. A retailing of a fairy tale always has promise for me and peaks my interest, but this book left me disappointed and a...

So I like everyone else saw the trailer and thought I would give the book a whirl before watching the movie. I wish I hadn't because hopefully the movie is going to be as good as it looks and the book just falls so flat and has left me feeling a little deflated- Here's why. The characters are one di...

This review appears in full at http://bellesbookshelf.blogspot.com/I can't remember the last time a book made me feel so stabby.Last Friday afternoon I was facing a two-hour train journey and had two books in my bag: A Study in Scarlet by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and this little sucker (the red theme ...
