I received a copy through Netgalley. I love that all the old Point Horror books are coming back as ebooks. I read so many of these over and over when I was young. I must admit I remember the cover with the black cat for this one but don't remember the plot at all.The plot centres around Kate who goe...

The second installment in the Unseen series picks up shortly after the first book left off. The novel's protagonist, Lucy Dennison, is haunted by her past experiences. Her world is turned upside down when she stumbles across an open grave while taking an evening stroll through a cemetery. To her ...

When the back cover blurb of a book includes the phrase, "the dog disappears", I can say with a certain amount of confidence that I don't expect to enjoy the story. With all due respect to fictional people, the misfortunes of fictional nonhumans--particularly domesticated animals like cats and dogs-...

Let me start by saying that the blurb on the back of this book does a terrible job of describing what this book is about. So here's one of my own creation: When Kate arrives at her horror writing conference, she's in for some disappointment: the genre master she came to see, William Drewe, never s...

Don't get me wrong I had a pretty good idea but the author could have at least thrown me a bone and let me know I was on the right track. No I had to wa...

"The library was silent as the grave..."This one was one of my favorite books back when I was in middle school. I just picked it up from my local library booksale, bought it for 25cents. Once I got home I dug right into it for all times sake. Even though I'm almost 20 now, I still loved it! It has e...

IMHO it's good not because of the writing or stuff but the awesomeness of BtVS show, which I discovered when taking a course on gender studies.

I finished reading this late last night before I went to bed, but I decided to wait to review it until I had slept on it. Plus if I post my reviews late at night, no one reads them. :)Honestly there are not a lot of good things to say about this attempt at creepy paranormal. The characters were very...

I thought this book was great. I read it in a day, no problem. It was an easy, fun read. But, if you didn't like the show, you probably won't like the book because it's JUST like the episode.
