Review originally posted at Sinfully. The Metropolis is an apartment complex with a large population of gay men who thrive on gossip, sex and working out (if you follow Devon McCormack on Facebook, it might sound familiar). This does little to help Gary get through his breakup with his longtime cheat...

I just love Riley Hart!! She seldomly does wrong with me. Although it's a novella, the story between Beck and Christian totally worked for me. I would've loved a full-length story about them though, but that's just me being greedy. Beckett is living his dream being the succesfull motocrosser he is...

This story is set in my favorite trope - second chance. But not really when the other guy doesn't know you are 'in-to-him'. Beck is a motorcross star, trying to find his racing mojo after all the media circus around his coming out. Christian is the HS friend he had a secret thing about. Beck and Chr...

Zack & Tommy meet in one of those hard, sad, lonely situations that can be unendingly heart wrenching. For me, their inner minds were so honest and afraid I almost stopped reading at the halfway point. This could have become a total mess but Riley Hart has the right stuff to know when the reader nee...

Nice collection of short stories all with the friends-to-lovers theme. It did take me a while to finish all stories, and I didn’t like them all as much, but overall I enjoyed this anthology.

I loved this anthology. It was written by some of my favorite authors and with the theme friends-to-lovers. Rough Edges by Cardeno C. *4 stars* MC: Kyle and Brent This was more a enemies-to-lovers story. Kyle “disliked” Brent the first time they met. He was a uptite, prejudiced against Brent’s...

4.5 starsCardeno C's story was wonderful. Loved it start to end and wished it was longer and more drawn out. The love/hate relationship between Brent and Kyle was entertaining. Brent was such a great guy for taking what Kyle could throw at him. Kyle himself wasn't at all hated even though he wasn't ...

Loved the chemistry between Landon and Rod. I disliked Landon's mother for asking Rod to keep the secret she had. I don't think I ever felt so much hate for a mother figure in a story before. I also hated Landon's father for doing what he did and just causing so much pain for Landon not once but thr...

And that's basically it. I wasn't very invested in any character, and didn't really buy this whole love story. I don't really know why that was. It just didn't grab me. Normally I like my heros damaged, but here even the addiction thing was a bit boring. It just was there - but not really fles...
