3.5 stars actually.

A decent book but not nearly as good as the first four. The plot was way too abstract, imho.

I'm done with the series. Unless someone convinces me of some amazing character growth/development in future books at which point I'm in again. I'm easy that way. Here's my thing about series. I have no problem if from book one it's made really clear to me that there isn't going to be a lot of chara...

Ironically, River Marked was the Mercy Thompson book I was most looking forward to. Mercy, I love you, but this shit is just too boring for me. There's, like, a river and some otters and DNF. For the record, I attempted to read this twice. 30% the first time and 47% this time around. Womp womp on both counts.

Not really a review but just because I love this book and these quotes so much, I'm putting it here.
