This will make a wonderful movie, I'll get that out of the way right now. Spielberg will make a fantastic job of this (at times) truely horrifying material. At some point in the near future - a future where humans heavily rely on robots and computers, one human succeeds in creating a powerful AI eng...

Via http://onlectus.blogspot.com/2012/12/robopocalypse-by-daniel-h-wilson.htmlArmy guys might dig this book, I, on the contrary couldn’t even finish it! It reminds me of World War Z: an oral history of the zombie war because they are both told by different voices around the world narrating the event...

Didn't really start. Blurb sounded like irobot, but far too technical for my liking.

A very solid three stars for exhibiting pace, interesting ideas and powerful action. The problem for me existed in the writing style which did little to really build the characters. I was both entertained and inspired by this book. Unique (at least compared with my typical reads) and to me that earns its 4th star.

I have to admit I gave up on this book because I just didn't feel drawn into the story. It was ok but it just didn't catch my attention and keep it. Maybe I will try again sometime to read it but for now I just have to say it was OK and put it away.

Robot uprising, killing people all over the shop, with this kind of premise what could go wrong?Robopocalypse is often compared to Max Brooks' World War Z and the Terminator movie franchise for different reasons. The former comparison is because the story concerns a global attack on the human race b...

I've seen this described as World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War but with robots. I can see why people make the comparison. The narrative structure is similar, although not exactly the same. World War Z has stories from all over the world whereas Robopocalypse takes place almost entirely i...
