You see, I never dreamed of writing nor did I ever take a writing course. It just happened. My only explanation is that I am reaping good karma from a past life or it is paid forward from a future one. For many years when people called me a writer, I protested. Not anymore. My identity is a writer now.My Reading--Is It Passion Or Obsession?Today, aside from self-empowerment and spiritual growth explorations, and spending time with my grandson, there is nothing I would rather be doing than writing. Not just any writing. Only self-help stuff on how you can uplift, expand, and transform your life. I devoured such books and audios for many, many years. My desire-obsession to change my life paid off and what I set out to accomplish I did. I believe the writer in me was birthed from all that reading!My First PassionMy first passion began when I took just for fun a beginner astrology class when my son was a toddler. I became mesmerized by what the astrologer was teaching. I was hooked and became one myself. Later for extra money, I decided to write about it. Next thing you know, I am selling articles to national astrology magazines. My Second PassionThis passion came when I invited astrologer Shirlee Kiley, originator of a system that deciphered the meaning in the letters of a person's name and what that knowledge would do for them, to speak at our local astrology guild. Her system was based on Kabalistic teachings and astrology. Later I joined forces with her in developing the system further and wrote about it in a column in Dell Horoscope Magazine. An offshoot of our collaboration was our book "Personal Power is in Your Name".My Third PassionIt entered the picture when I met Alice Steadman at a lecture she was giving about her mind-body book "Whose The Matter With Me?" That encounter ultimately led me to understand optimal health and wellbeing in a totally new way and completely changed how I approached health issues. This eventually led to my writing, "Body Talk: Why You Really Get Sick and Why it Need Never Happen Again!"My Career as An EditorAs life moved along I found myself at different times an editor-in-chief of various astrology magazines. Then when my son graduated college, I gave up my home-based astrology career and took a job with a new age publishing company in New York City. That's when I edited the two tomes, Your Birthday Sign Through Time and Love Signs and You.My Current PassionToday my reading and writing is all about self-empowerment through one's own inner wisdom. I share my personal experiences of what helps to bring me joy, expansion, transformation, and enrichment. It is my greatest pleasure to share what has changed my life knowing that the same magic is accessible and achievable for everyone. Thus my new Kindle book "Foolproof Ways For Women To Have Lasting Diet Success" was born. It is the first book in which I share anything personal. This is a new and healing chapter in the story of me.
