After returning from deployment in Iraq, the straight and alpha Navy SEAL, Scott finds that nothing is how he would have expected it to be.

His house and it's emptiness haunts him, he can’t sleep at night and struggles dealing with the things he has seen. PTSD is not what he was expecting, and is unable to face his fears in a healthy way. He can’t stop thinking of a friend who died in his arms during the war, and he can’t get over the things that were left unsaid. His life begins to spiral downward as he begins to circle the drain.

Pete has always had trouble opening up his heart. Working in a small coffee shop in Aspen, his only friend is his co-worker, Brandy. Brandy keeps telling him to take risks, to go for men he likes, but he’s always afraid of being left hurt and alone.

Brandy and her boyfriend go for a skiing trip and take Pete along with them. They get Pete a shared bedroom, while they stay in a suite. Everything is fine until this manly SEAL turns out to be his new roomie.

The chemistry is undeniable. Pete and Scott are drawn to each other from the beginning. But Pete is afraid of being hurt and Scott is straight.

They have only one night together, and neither knows what plans fate has for them.
