Vince Rowland hates the outdoors. When a camp ground came onto the market for cheap, it was too good of a bargain to pass up, even if he was reluctant. He has resigned himself to getting in, flipping the place, and getting out when the unexpected happens.

After nearly running over a woman fleeing for her life, Vince’s time at the camp becomes infinitely more complicated. Lori is an odd woman with an even odder past and downright mysterious present. Her sister has been murdered, and she’s bent on finding the killer.

Vince doesn’t want to get involved, but he can’t help himself.

He’s never met a woman quite like Lori. For better or worse, she’s a lot like him in all the wrong ways. It’s inevitable that she’ll draw him in to a mystery he’ll have no choice but to see through to its end.
