This book was really, really difficult to get into. While having it written from the POV of a sheltered 5 year old is interesting, it's also incredibly hard and irritating to read. It was like one giant run on sentence through the whole book. The first third of it was, quite honestly, mind numbingly...

I couldn't love this novel even if I tried. The storyline was heartbreaking and terrible and this type of novel is definitely not for me. Going into this novel I understood, but I was still willing to give it a shot... Probably shouldn't have wasted my time. All in all this book was a huge disappoin...

I wish I had words to describe what this book was like for me. Needless to say, I loved every second of it. ROOM it's a haunting story and I assure you it'll keep you up until late.

Wow, this was an amazing book! Brilliantly written. I haven't read a book I liked this much since The Hunger Games. The book is narrated by Jack, a 5 year old boy. I was a bit skeptical at first, but he was the perfect narrator for this story! When I started it was a bit weird, but after only 10 page...

I just couldn't do it. I got several pages into Room, and while I knew there was likely an interesting plot brewing, and that kept me plodding forward, I just could not deal with Jack as child-narrator. Jack's speech patterns, rather than being realistic or moving or even cute, were just overly imma...

For a book that takes place mostly in the confines of a small room and narrated by a small child, this book is actually much better than I would have anticipated. Like many others that I have spoken to after reading this book, I was anticipating something juvenile, boring, and incomprehensible but ...

Told through Jack's eyes, Room is an amazing story of resilience, survival and love. Ma is Jack's whole world, and Room is all he knows, as is Rug, Wardrobe, Refrigerator, and Under the Bed. Yet, after Jack turns Five, Ma starts unlying about their world, and Jack slowly begins to realize that his w...

Room is a powerfully written, haunting book about survival, love, and the bond between parent and child. I am still disturbed by the book Living Dead Girl so I picked up Room with some trepidation, not sure if I was ready for another abduction story. However, once I picked it up Room I couldn’t stop...
