Second to last book read for Halloween Bingo! One more book to go. I'll have a review out for this book at some point.... But right now, all I can think to say is that, while the beginning was hard to get into, the book picked up with signs of danger started surfacing. I wasn't entirely in like...
I really liked this. It definitely made me want to read more from this author. The mystery is good. It twists around but doesn't get too crazy. The leads are easy to like. It's sexy but not all about the sex.

This was a fulminant story. It read like a classic family drama/crime history. It had different strings that came together in an explosive finale. I enjoyed the different characters, their stories and how it all tied together. The love story is why I deducted half a star. It was unnecessary and ...
This review can also be found at Carole's Random Life in Books.I enjoyed this book quite a bit! I have been a long time fan of Sandra Brown. Plot-driven story with some clunky writing and characters behaving in ways that actual humans probably would not. Two stars instead of one because the plot did hold my interest so that I wanted to find out how the story resolved itself. There were some twists I did not see coming. I am not a "roma...
I love these collections. Some days it’s so hard to find time to block out the rest of the world & disappear into a great book. With these shorties, you can spend 20 minutes in your favourite hiding spot & enjoy a complete story from some of the best known thriller writers. Each is a collaboration...
Nine Coaches Waiting is Stewart’s fourth book, published in 1958 and which is set contemporary to its publication date. I’ve read it a couple of times already and have always had mixed feelings about parts of the plot and characterization. SURPRISE, I still feel that way! I also want to say right aw...
