Surprisingly good!
A highly enjoyable book by the author of the Kushiel series. Carey tells the story of bystanders caught (literally) in the cross fire of government conspiracy and misdirection, and of the struggle for justice and escape, whether from oppression or from false reality.
An entertaining dystopian/superhero novel that never reaches its full potential. Beautiful cover! Good reading. At first I put off reading of this book - I'm not sure why. Right now I am glad I read it after all. It is a very dynamic, very fast read. Good charachters, little fluff. Overall, I loved it.
