4.5 stars. I love reading more about her time prior to Throne of Glass.

Too good for words - more of Celaena's arrogant swagger and lightening-fast assassin reflexes, this novella is sure to have you begging for more!

Well now, that was exciting! I decided to read two(probably all of them if they are great as this one!!)of the short stories before the main book, Throne of Glass. Both have been with the Assassin's Guild since they were young children. Celaena is cocky, arrogant, a girly-girl who likes fancy clothes and man...

After hearing so many positive things (prior to publication) about Throne of Glass, I was expecting a lot from the first prequel, The Assassin and the Pirate Lord, and boy was I disappointed. I typically have little to say about short stories and novellas—just read my embarrassing attempts at writi...
