I'm Dakota Collins, a tough talking, eye patch wearing, workaholic photography student. Why am I important? Well, maybe because I get to spend an entire month with Vicious, only the sickest indie rock band out there. You see, I needed a subject for my Spring Showcase introspective in order to graduate. During a chance encounter at a club I'd been sent to cover for the Daily Gossip, our ironically named college paper, the features writer I usually teamed up with introduced me to the band-by accident, I might add. It involved a run in with a scary, bald bodyguard. Anyway, long story short, I signed a contract to take pictures of Vicious. I should have known their handsome yet way too serious for his own good bassist, Luka Visraya, wouldn't be able to keep his hands to himself. He's gorgeous and all, but the way he smiles spelled trouble with a capital L. I'm in for a long month with him around. Crazy stuff happens and then some I can't quite explain. So, if you want the skinny on Vicious and the events revolving around my stay at Lunar Manor, read my story.

Savor is the first book I have read by Kate Evangelista, and now I need to go back, and read Taste and the rest of the books she has ever written. It’s close to 1 am and I read this book from 9:30pm to 12:30am. Only taking breaks when I needed to because Kate sucked me into the book. Only a few a...
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for my stop on the blog tour at Donnie Darko Girl. I. Am. Addicted. SAVOR was so flippin' awesome, I need more! Dakota swept me away the minute she stepped out of the cab at the club opening the very first page of the book. I don't thin...
(I was given an e-copy of this book by the author, in exchange for an honest review.)Having reviewed Taste a couple of years ago, I was intrigued by the premise of this novel, wondering how it tied into it, and what role would the characters play in it. I'll get back to this at the end of my review,...
So, what can I say about Savor? Let me give you an example of me finishing this AWESOME book with a little help from Sulley... Savor is told by Dakota Collins, our photography student and eye patch wearin' MC as she prepares to graduate from college. On a job for the school pap...
Review also posted at Ja čitam, a ti?First of I shall start with the cover. Kate Evangelista's books never fail when it comes to the covers. All that I've seen and read had this amazing art on them. But for me the best thing is that they're always connected to the story itself. So, yes this beautifu...
