I don't remember science fairs at all as a kid. Either they were nonexistent in the schools I attended, or it was optional and my teachers weren't very enthusiastic about it. inspiring stories, but read a bit too much like a collection of inspirational magazine stories. still, very inspiring -- and I appreciated that everyone's story wasn't necessarily a big win.
